How to Play

Study the player list carefully and select your 15 players using the following rules:

  1. Select 7 Backs and 8 Forwards.

  2. It does not matter which position the player is in, provided you fill each category (forwards and backs) with the correct number of players. Player duplication is not permitted. There is only one Gavin Henson so you can't have two of him in your team!

  3. The combined value of your 15 players must not exceed 100 credits.

  4. You can choose a maximum of four players from each real-life country.

  5. To start scoring from the very start of the competition you'll need to register by 1.15pm on Saturday 2nd February 2008. You can register a team later than this but it won't start scoring until the next Entry Cut-Off. There is a weekly Entry Cut-Off at 15 minutes before the first kick-off each Saturday.

  6. You can enter as many teams as you like. If you enter via Internet or coupon there's a buy 3 for the price of 2 option.

  7. Internet registration will remain open until 1.15pm on Saturday March 15th 2008.

  8. Coupon registration will remain open until the 31st January 2008.

Transfers

Each team will be able to use up to 12 transfers during the course of the competition.

Transfers will work on a weekly basis. IE, There will be a cut-off / team freeze at 15 minutes before the first kick-off each Saturday. Transfers made after this will come into effect for the following game weekend. You cannot make any transfers between the Saturday and Sunday games. EG. If you make transfers after 1.15pm on Saturday 2nd February they will NOT impact on your team until the following round of matches on 9th February.

Transfers cost 50p each and work on a pay as you go basis. There is a minimum online payment of £2. You can pre-pay for your transfers online during the registering process at the cost of £3 for all 12 transfers (a potential saving of 50%). Coupon entrants cannot make pre-paid transfers and will have to make transfers using the postal transfer sheet which will be sent out by Thursday 7th Febrary.

There will be a Transfer Amnesty prior to the start of the season (deadline is 1.15pm on February 2nd). If one of your selected players gets injured or you decide you'd prefer another player in your line-up you will be able to carry out that transfer provided it's made prior to this deadline. NB. This will not affect your allowance of 12 transfers for use during the competition.
